Tessa completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2016 at the Australian Catholic University in Sydney. She has since worked in a not-for-profit setting providing early intervention within the disability sector. Tessa has supported children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, chromosomal disorders, developmental delays and learning difficulties. She has provided services across a range of settings including clinic, home, childcare, school and other community environments.

Tessa is passionate about working collaborative with families to support individuals to reach their fullest potential. She has a particular interest in ASD and is a certified Hanen ‘More Than Words’ therapist. Tessa is interested in working across a range of difficulties involving speech, language, fluency, social skills, feeding and multi-modal communication. She aims to achieve the best progress in therapy through fun activities that promote full engagement. Tessa encourages as much family involvement as possible to provide holistic and meaningful intervention that will carry over to a child’s most important environments such as home and school.
